I recently adopted a female German shepherd from your shelter, Dixie. She has been home for three weeks now and she is fitting in perfectly with the family. My parents absolutely adore her, buying her toys, bones, and anything else that a dog would want. She is spoiled already! She is very, very smart. We are able to teach her anything that we want and it sticks with her like glue. Its amazing how smart she really is. She has plenty of land to run and loves playing Frisbee in the snow. She will play until she can't play no more, until she falls over asleep. She is also very good with children, too. Dixie has lifted the spirits in the family just how we have lifted hers by giving her a home. She is a great dog and I was very lucky being able to adopt her. I want to thank you for connecting me her. She truly has been my best friend and a blessing.

Hi,My name is Elisha and me and my family adopted Harley from you and now his name is Patch and we just love him. I am sending you some pictures so you can see how happy he is now. When we first got Patch he was pretty thin, but not now. He has lots of toys and gets a snack 3 times a day and has his own bed but would rather sleep under the covers with me and my husband. I have a 6 yr. old boy and a 7 mth. old boy and they love him and he loves them. He is more of a mommy's boy but still loves all of us.Well i just wanted to update you and thank you so much for him, whoever had him didn't realize what they were giving up!

we just wanted to say thank you for our awsome dogs!!!!! also wanted to send you guys some pictures of the dogs with their new big brother. they got new names, but i dont think they really mind. Old name: Ranson ; new name: Duke
Old name: Luke ; new name: Charlie
and their new big brothers name is Maynerd and he is happy to have his new friends. they get along great. they really are best friends with each other and us. they are having a good time in all the snow. we took them sled riding with us and they had a blast running up and down the hill. they are fun. we are excited to take them on their first camping trip this spring. we will have to send some pictures of that too.

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that Cesar is doing great! The kids love him and Shelley (weimaraner) can't leave him alone - but he is so patient with her. He has a huge bed at the foot of our bed and sleeps all night. When it was snowing tonight Earl took him out and he romped and played and seemed like a puppy for a little while. We gave him a bath the other night and he actually laid down in the bath water and let us scrub him. It could have been because of his back legs being weak or sore, but he seemed to like the water and attention.

We really enjoy having him and Earl said this evening that he is the perfect dog. Thank you for taking good care of him before we got him. We will send pictures later.
